A Japy Freres Boulle decorated mantel clock, French, late 19th century, the signed, twin train movement striking the hour and half hour on a gong, no. 9155, with sunburst mask pendulum, fronted by an embossed brass dial inset with porcelain panels with blue Roman numerals, the waisted body with rococo foliate and figural brass mounts and feet, the high square domed top with floral finial, 12in. (30.5cm.) high. In running condition. Strikes correctly.Small chip to enamel on numeral IIII. The case good, with re-gilded mounts - two ting dings to brass at back edge of right side of case.
