Chinese School, Circa 1820, a bust-length portrait study of a Mandarin in a fur-banded hat and coat thumbing the point of an arrow, watercolour and body colour, ex, Lot 94, Sotheby Parke Bernet (Hong Kong) Monday 4th December 1978. 35 cm x 36.5 cm, together with two Chinese watercolours on silk, depicting horsemen, one with a bow and arrow, 24.5 x 19 cm. The lot is accompanied by the original catalogue and receipt from the Hong Kong auction.
