Alan Kenny is an Irish artist whose thirty-five year career has involved dramatic periods of stylistic innovations and bracing artistic breakthroughs. Initially a painter in the plein air tradition, his earlier naturalistic landscapes maintained stylistic connections to conventional academic modes of expression.
