A LARGE NINETEENTH/EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY CANTON CHINESE 'FAMILLE ROSE' VASE depicting court and courtier scenes of a 'Rose Mandarin' style in two opposite panels, a band of chrysanthemums and butterflies to the base and the rim, two gilt moulded dragons to the neck, gilt embellishment throughout the designs, highly intricate patterns to the clothing, petals, and other free-flowing motifs to include bats, domestic items, fruit, flowers, etc, two six-character marks incorporated into the design of the body, gilded bevelled rim with three floral patterns to the interior, height 63cm, a rough textured base without mark or glaze (1) (Condition Report: signs of historic restoration to the base, two handles possibly missing/never added, signs of possible partial oxidisation to the handle area, slight wear to the gilt rim, a dragon is missing an eye)
