French M1833 Naval Cutlass
26 3/4 inch, single edged, slightly curved blade with wide fuller. Back edge with faint maker's details. Steel guard and knuckle bow with added thinner gauge, steel part basket. Angular steel pommel and grip. Now contained in a later leather scabbard with brass mounts.
