A pair of late 19th century Meissen blue painted double salts depicting a boy and a girl in courtly dress, each sitting on a double salt over a scroll base, blue painted crossed sword mark and number '27, impressed marks and inscribed mark '3024', 13cm high (2) (at fault)

The male figure shows a substantial loss to the right hand salt with a further repair and glazing fault to the remaining piece. The left hand salt show several chips and losses to the rim, and the figure's right hand foot is missing. The female figure shows a repair to the left leg, and some small losses to the bouquet in her hand, but otherwise appears to be in good condition.
