A CHINESE WUCAI PORCELAIN VASE, LATE QING / REPUBLIC PERIOD. Of baluster form decorated in underglaze blue with red, green and yellow enamels decorated with leafy scrolls, featuring a dragon and phoenix at the shoulder above a band of lotus lappets and ruyi heads towards the base. The base with H & W Greer ltd, Shanghai stamp. Together with carved and pierced ruyi wooden stand. Vase 35cm tall.
Condition: Hole drilled to centre of base once used as a lamp base. Otherwise good order with no further signs of damage or repairs. Wooden stand with crack at one foot.
