A JAPONISME DESK ATTRIBUTED TO GABRIEL VIARDOT, FRENCH (1830-1906). A curved top section with brown leather top above a carved and pierced scroll frieze. With five drawers inlaid with finely detailed bone and mother of pearl depicting a bird, dragonfly, butterfly and floral sprays. With one key to lock all drawers. 100cm wide x 80cm tall x 57cm deep.

Overall in good order with no major signs of damage or loss. Splitting to the veneer panel to the back behind the four drawers.
