An early 20th Century North African ( Sudanese ) Kaskara sword. Dome shaped pommel with a faceted cube to the top, silver wire grip with the top portion bound with rope and tassel. Cruciform hilt, double edge blade with x3 shallow fullers and crescent shaped incisions. Housed in a leather clad scabbard with swell to the tip. Measures approx 110cm.
