A brass barrelled and brass framed flintlock boxlock blunderbuss pocket pistol, by Pirrie of Aberdeen (c 1824-25), 5½” overall, bell mouth barrel 1¾” with octagonal breech and B’ham proofs; the signed frame engraved with trophies of flags and drums, with top safety which secures the frizzen, hidden trigger, and walnut slab butt with silver escutcheon.
