Ledger 1, Payments, listing names of tenants, accounts current Stewart C. Maitland with David Gordon, W.S. of Kirkcudbright, rentals of the Estate, rents of the Estate of Compstone (Cumstoun House). Ledger reversed & started at the other end has over 30 pages of copy contracts, minutes, etc. Ledger 2 is marked as Dundrennan Cash Book & covers 1838-1843. Very interesting Kirkcudbright local & family history item.
