A LATE VICTORIAN MOURNING BROOCH, of an oval outline, plaited hair centre piece with glazed panel, to a surround of split pearls and a further surround of circular cut garnets, personal engraving to the reverse reads 'Mary Wade 1880', fitted with a brooch pin and C clasp, with an additional safety chain, approximate dimensions length 27.6mm x width 21.0mm x depth 7.7mm, unmarked yellow metal, approximate gross weight 5.5 grams (condition report: would benefit from a gentle clean and polish, small dinks to the reverse of the brooch)
