French 1868 pattern probably WWI period sword bayonet with brass hilt and steel scabbard. Overall 74cm long approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
The scabbard has rust and some dents. The serial numbers on the blade and scabbard match. Neither the blade or scabbard are bent ourt of shape, the press stud still functions. The blade has writing on its back. Please see additional photos.
