A c1920s double morse key, used to send telegraph messages via the submarine/ transatlantic telegraph routes. Bakelite base with gilt brass body. Due to the long distances underwater cables had to send messages, double keys were created which used a positive and negative current for each paddle.  Unmarked but most likely English. W 10cm, D 12.5cm, H 6cm.
