A Chinese Zitan seated figure of an official, 18th century,
the figure holding a fly whisk in his left hand, seated upon a throne,
19.3cm high
The figure appears to be carved from two blocks of timber put together and then carved. There are a few age cracks to the timber in places and minor scuffing and losses to the wood in places. Some possible high-quality restoration to some of the age cracks in places. Otherwise in good condition.
