CHINA/HONG KONG COMBINATION COVER FROM FOOCHOW TO G.B. VIA HONG KONG; Most attractive 14 Jan. 1899 commercial env. to Bristol (to a firm of solicitors) with China 5c Red Pair tied by mainly very fine large bilingual 2-ring cds in the opposite corner from a HK 5c Blue Pair tied by partly fine HK cds's; unusually all the stamps are on the address side. There is no I.P.O. mark because it was not in use in Foochow at this date; it has not been recorded before April 1899. Rare and of Exhibition Quality.
