LARGE MEISSEN FIGURE OF A SHEPHERD & GOAT - BLANC DE CHINE. Early 20thc, the large blanc de chine figure of a shepherd holding a goat over his shoulders. With foliage in relief and on a circular shaped base. 'Blue Crossed Swords' mark to the back of the figure, and impressed marks, Crossed Swords above Weifs, A1210. 54.5cms high. *Condition: The goat has parts of the horns missing and some chips to the ears, one hoof with small chip, the figure has a small chip to the side of his clothing, small chip underneath to the footrim.
