A large and enchanting antique original oil on canvas painting featuring a landscape scene of a meandering river lined on each side by lush dense foliage, a single figure passes through on the dirt path to the right hand side. Beautifully observed and rendered in delicate brushstrokes in sepia tones. Signed E. Ronal bottom left and housed in an ornate gilt frame. Some losses to canvas.
