1495-1498 King Henry VII, facing bust issue class IIIb silver Groat with pansy mintmark (S 2198A). Obverse: facing crowned bust with realistic hair within a tressure of arcs, pansy mintmark, saltire stops. Reverse: long cross, bisecting two rings, three pellets in each central quarter, 'CIVITAS x LONDON' in the centre, mintmark unidentifiable. Weight: 3.1g. Diameter: 25mm. Grade: VF - Very Fine, dark tone with an attractive portrait.
