A rare collection Amoy & Hakka 19th Century Jewellery, mounted on a green silk covered board, comprising various ear pendants, some with jade, gilt metal or enamel. Ladies anklets, various pendants, brooches, bangles, ear-rings, hair combs, Ladies hair pins, necklace, fruit picks, other implements, buckles and clips etc., some with various tags attached, approx. 70 items. Provenance: Sir Henry Arthur Blake, GCMG DL JP FRGS, British Colonial Administrator and Governor of Hong Kong 1898 - 1903.
