A late 19c French garniture de cheminée comprising a central clock flanked by two urns. The bodies are of gilt spelter and have inset painted panels of cream porcelain and all are surmounted by gilt mounted cream porcelain urns. The clock has cream porcelain columns at each side and a decorated cream porcelain dial with Roman numerals. The movement is rack striking on a bell. The urns are mounted on matching six footed stands with inset porcelain panels to their fronts and both clock and urns stand on individual shaped giltwood bases. The clock stands 50cm h and the urns 38cm h.
The gilt spelter is a little tarnished but no elements are missing. The porcelain is undamaged. There is a crack to the rear of the clock case at the vase. The clock movement is complete but a bit dirty. One of the side urns is a bit loose on its base.
