A scarce Autoart 1:18 scale 'The Green Hornet' Black Beauty. An impressive model of this customised 1966 Chrysler Crown Imperial as used in the American mid 1960's Green Hornet TV series. Finished in gloss black with a satin black roof, with opening doors and hood.
This vehicle was used by The Green Hornet himself and Kato in their crime-fighting efforts. The original car was equipped with a unique horn that sounds like the buzz of a hornet, as well as an array of various gadgets. These TV/Film cars were a 'thing' back then with Lady Panoply's FAB I, The Monkeemobile and the Batmobile being three other memorable examples. More known as a Corgi Toy this example was a limited run by Autoart and is seldom seen for sale. Boxed, minor/some wear. Vehicle VGC, very minor packing marks to hood. £150-200
