A George III silver cream jug by Peter & Ann Bateman, London 1792, helmet form with high looped handle, with punched decoration to the rim above an engraved band of bellflowers, further engraved to the front lozenge cartouche with a crest and motto 'ESSORANT VICTORIEUX' within a fancy foliate decorated surround, the square foot engraved with initials 'MLQ' to the front edge. 14cm high overall, 2.8 troy ounces
