£75
English porcelain vase painted with flowers by William Pollard Carmarthen together with a spill vase and similarly decorated basket, the largest 12cm high
1) the items come from a large collector of welsh porcelains 2) the items are consistent with those illustrated and discussed by Andrew Renton in his paper in Welsh ceramics in context part 2 on the Welsh diaspora- what the Swansea painters did next 3) there are very few - a handful perhaps - pieces with pollards name on them in Carmarthen - being unmarked is again consistent.
