Items of WWI Interest: documents and correspondence relating to Corporal Edward Vigrass who was killed in action on 4/10/1917 during the Third Battle of Ypres. He was initially listed as missing and his name is recorded at Tyne Cot Cemetery. Included is a letter to his mother from a Captain Barker who sent her a pocket case belonging to her son. Also included in the lot is a De Courcy & Co 1916 Trench Whistle with a chain, a wallet and a WWII British Army Tam O Shanter which according to the vendor belonged to the soldier.
