Tobermory. 1807 (Mar 21) Part entire letter (missing the first page) from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Rothesay endorsed "p. ship Hamilton, Capt Gilchrist", handstamped circular "TOBERMORY / SHIP LRE", a little smudged but quite clear, the first recorded use of this rare ship letter, the only ship letter handstamp used by this office on the Isle of Mull.
