Industrial locomotives and scenes. The majority are postcard size, with a few smaller 3.25" square black & white prints, approx. 330 with minor duplication. Around 1/3 are poor quality colour prints. The photos depict industrial steam and diesel locomotives at M.O.D. sites throughout the UK and a couple in Germany. Includes sites such as: The War Office, Long Marston, Longmoor Military Railway, Royal Ordnance Puriton, MOD Proof & Experimental, Royal Navy Armament depot Trecwyn, Royal Arsenal Woolwich, War Dept, light railways, MOD Longtown and many others etc. All labelled, sample illustrated.
