AFTER ADOLPHE JEAN LAVERGNE (FRENCH, 1852-1901) A BRONZE STUDY OF A BOY, titled 'Charmeur de Lézards' (Lizard Charmer), the boy playing a whistle surmounted by a lizard, another lizard stands on the rock to the rear, raised on a square base having signature, title plaque 'Charmeur de Lézards, par Lavergne', and retailer's plaque verso reading 'Finnigans, Paris', height 28cm (1) (Condition Report: good condition, the end of the whistle is slightly bent, figure slightly loose on base, plaques and two sides of the base have been polished)
