Provenance: given to the vendor by Pat Graham-Gardiner in 1984. PGG grew up with Rudolf Sauter and was adopted by the author John Galsworthy

Unframed. Painting appears to be in unrestored original condition. No signs of any cleaning or re-stretching. Some light cracking to paint, particularly around where the stretcher is around the edge of the painting. Colours nice and strong and no notable defects or problems. Provenance as already described in the report.
