A Belgian 6 shot 9mm Ortmann double action pinfire revolver, c 1865, the barrel, cylinder and frame of nickel silver or tutenag, round barrel 125mm, stamped at the breech “W. ORTMANN”; Liege proved; engraved with scrolled chequered panels, the loading gate slides out so that the elongated hinge pin can be used as an ejector rod; the bag shaped butt having root wood grips (worn), and lanyard ring.
