19th Century Indo-Persian Jambiya
10 1/2 inch, single edged, yataghan blade with narrow fuller. Steel crossguard and knuckle guard. Polished jade ferrule and pommel. The grip of mother of pearl with black zig zag decoration. Contained in its green velvet wooden scabbard with lower, steel chape and throat, this with steel locking catch which fits through the crossguard.
