TWO FRENCH NINETEENTH CENTURY CHASSEPOT BAYONETS, the first blade is clearly dated 1876 and the scabbard and bayonet have matching numbers 14411, the scabbard is metal and the handle is wood and brass, it is in good condition for its age and has only got the usual age related wear, the second one is missing its scabbard and the date markings are rubbed, but the blade and handle are in good condition, Customers must satisfy themselves prior to sale in regards to conditions and authenticity, viewing is advised, condition reports are available on request
