Victorian 1887 Heavy Cavalry Officer’s Sword.
slightly curved, single edged, 35 inch blade with etched decoration of a crowned VR cypher and retailer's details of Hamburger Rogers & Co. The hilt of regulation pattern, the guard enclosing a shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Housed in steel scabbard with two loose rings. Etching to blade clear.
