The Royal Philatelic Collection. A cloth-bound example of the facsimile reproduction of the Royal stamp collection published in 1952 by Viscount Kemsley at the Dropmore Press. This collection, begun by KGV and continued by KGVI, is reproduced here with 12 colour plates, 48 monochrome plates, captioned tissue guards paired with an informative history of the collection. The cover is adorned with a gilded copy of the Royal coat of arms and the spine bears the gilt name of the publisher and editor, Sir John Wilson Bart. Some very minor scuffs to cover but remarkably clean page edges with little to no visible toning/foxing. (V)
