A French artist's palette form easel timepiece. Circa 1880, the dial painted with two Watteauesque figures, indistinct stamped mark, height 30cm, on a brass easel stand. The movement will not wind. The movement is secured to the palette by three rivet like fixings, one of these is missing. The pottery dial is damage free, although there is some wear to the decoration and the brass edging is a little loose. The easel frame is slightly loose and wobbly, with a rudimentary wire repair, and will require attention.
