A smokebox numberplate, 45565, from a LMS Jubilee Class 6P 4-6-0 No 5565 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 24123, in August 1934 and named on 24 February 1936 VICTORIA after the Australian state. It spent most of its working life at Holbeck where it was allocated in January 1938 and remained until June 1962 when it moved to Low Moor from where it was withdrawn on 6 January 1967 and sold for scrap to Drapers at Hull. A BR weld repair top right, repainted, the weld exposed. (Postage Band: D)
