A mid 20th Century Japanese Empire / Old Republic Samurai Katana sword. Rayskin style grip of (believed) bone construction with a plaited rope exterior. Brass Tsuba pieced with floral motifs and the polished blade etched with a scrolling dragon. Housed in a laquered wooden scabbard. Measures approx 103cm.
