1947 India 3p with trial overprints vertical strip of ten, unmounted o.g.  Top six stamps without overprints; stamps 7-9 with overprint in black (not red, as issued); stamp 10 doubly overprinted in red and gold.  Folded for display between third and fourth stamps, stamp 10 with partial fingerprint in black overprinting ink (attesting to the trial nature of the overprints), still a fine item with eight such strips produced.  Ex Cooper.  SG 1 trial
