The BMW E39 is the fourth generation of the BMW 5 Series, which was sold from 1995 to 2004. It was launched in the saloon body style, with the estate body style, marketed as "Touring" introduced in 1996. The E39 was the first 5 Series to use aluminium components in the front suspension. The proportion of chassis components using aluminium significantly increased for the E39, in order to reduce weight. It was also the first 5 Series where a four-cylinder diesel engine was available. V8 models use recirculating ball steering, however rack and pinion steering was used for the first time in the four-cylinder and six-cylinder models.

The three former keeper 2000 BMW 530 SE Touring offered here is described by the vendor to be in very good condition in all areas. The metallic blue paintwork and Dakota grey leather seats are said to be excellent, and the engine to run as it did when new. The car comes with the original service book containing 10 stamped entries with the last being within the last 60 miles.

Extras include comfort pack electric seats, memory drivers seats, electric sunroof (working), upgraded stereo system with blue tooth navigation etc, air conditioning, electric steering column and high beam headlamps. This is a truly comfortable drive and has had much money spent on servicing and maintenance. A nice example of a modern classic.
