A FIRST WORLD WAR PAIR TO A PRISONER OF WAR FROM THE EAST SURREY REGIMENT AND ANOTHER TO THE LIVERPOOL REGIMENT. A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 33100 Pte R.H. Roe E. Surr. R. Reginald Herbert Roe, born in 1893, from Hounslow served with A Company. He was reported as missing on the 28th May 1918, later being reported as a Prisoner of War at Stendal camp having been captured at Roye on the Somme. He was released on the 7th January 1919. A similar pair named to 87962 Pte H(oward).C. Marland L'Pool R. Mounted for display.
