A collection of c. 84 glass and celluloid negatives housed in a wooden box, the majority being
contained in individual paper envelopes, many being captioned and dated during early 1920. Mostly
taken in the Schleswig-Holstein area in Northern Germany, of military ships and personnel. Locations
include Stettin in Prussia, which is now the Polish town of Szczecin; Schivelbein (Swidwin); Naugard
(Nowogard); and Swinemunde (Swinoujscie). The barque “Grossherzog Friedrich August” features as
do various military vehicles with accompanying personnel. A very interesting collection of inter-war
period Baltic imagery.
