A 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY INLAID FOLD OVER TEA TABLE, with canted corners to the front, the top decorated with a large demi-lune shaped conch shell decoration to the centre. Beneath the top is a cross-banded frieze that rests upon the tapered inlaid legs. To the back is a gate leg that supports the top when folded open; which reveals the tea table surface creating an octagonal shaped table. Nice detail to the collars on each leg with inlaid circular design. Condition: over all it looks very well, there are old restorations to cracks/loss as can be seen in the images. As it stands though it is ready to use. Dimensions: 91.5 x 45.5 x 76.5cm (W x D x H – closed).
