R.M.S. TITANIC: An extremely rare onboard postcard La Provence, the French liner which was the first ship that received Titanic's distress call. The card was written by a passenger onboard and says their ship had warned Titanic of icebergs ahead after passing some themselves. it refers to their wireless reporting an accident had happened to Titanic which they 'cannot understand'. The passenger underlines that they had 'warned' Titanic. Postmark April 18th 1912 New York.
