Chinese blue and white caddy vase, Kangxi (1662-1722), ovoid form with later Dutch silver mounts, decorated with figures and a boy within an interior, four character Chenghua, height 20cm

The silver cover is badly dented. The body has numerous glaze scratches. The base has a star crack and a firing crack. Under a strong light hair cracks can be seen on the inside. These are probably stress fractures, they do not exhibit externally.
