17 inch, single edged blade with fuller. The forte with maker "EFD" (Enfield). Dated 8/14. Steel muzzle ring, crossguard with quillon removed and pommel without oil hole. Wooden slab grips. Together with a regimentally stamped, 1853 pattern, socket bayonet. 17 inch, triangular, hollow ground blade. The forte with maker "Reeves". Blackened steel shoulder and socket stamped "31.V.LCS. 40. 400". Locking swivel absent. 2 items.
