An American Hamilton of Lancaster PA USA ‘Model 22’ marine navigation desk chronometer, circa WWII period. Keyless manual wind movement. The screw back signed ‘Keystone’, marked ‘Base Metal’ and numbered 184462. Housed in an oak case. These chronometers were typically used onboard American naval vessels during the World War II period. Clock 8.5 cm height, 7 cm diameter. Case: 12.4 cm width.
