CHARLES DICKENS Thomas Onwhyn - Gems from Pickwick, from the original steel plates by Onwhyn & Other Eminent Artists, without publishers’ details or date but circa 1848. Presenting as a suite of 32 steel engravings, including frontispiece, with a separate title page printed in red, bound in decorated blue boards. An extremely scarce set, with some illustrations having attribution to Samuel Weller (the name used when he published a pirate edition of The Pickwick Papers in 1837)
