WW2 British Army Officers Service Dress Cap. Unissued condition. Kings Crown General Service Buttons to leather chinstrap. Never fitted with a cap badge. Maker marked "W Foster & Son Ltd, Waingate & Castle Hill, Sheffield 3". Size approx. 58. Twin air vents to each side of crown.

Good condition, some moth tracking to the crown. Sweatband never appears to have been sewn into place. The cap is possibly pre war in date due to style and the Waingate branch of Fosters was destroyed in the Sheffield Blitz.
