Chris Cross (Ultravox) - stage and studio used Gibson EB-3 bass guitar, made in USA, circa 1969; Body: white refinish, evidence of original cherry bleeding through, finish loss to edges, various lacquer cracks and dings throughout; Neck: dings and lacquer cracks, cracking around heel/cutaway area; Fretboard: rosewood; Frets: worn and oxidised; Electrics: original bridge pickup working, neck pickup position not currently functioning, replacement DiMarzio neck pickup, 1969 potentiometers, replacement XLR type jack, coil switch added; Hardware: G string bridge saddle missing, bridge mute dampener missing, light tarnishing, rusting to smaller metal parts; Case: original hard case bearing 'Ultravox' stencil to the lid; Weight: 3.40kg; Overall condition: fair

* Extensively used by Chris Cross live and in the studio with Ultravox and his main instrument during the early John Foxx led years. Sold with a selection of black and white images showing Chris using the bass.
