A late Qing Dynasty Chinese bronze censer, of bombe form with loop handles and incised with figures on horseback below a traditional scroll border, with apocryphal six-character Xuande period (1426-1435) reign mark to base, height 9cm, diameter 16cm.
Several cracks approximately 6cm in length to the base.
Good overall patination and wear.
Spots of verdigris throughout.
